If you haven’t been living under a rock- then you have probably got RickRolled at least 10 times this past year. For those of you who are just joining us from under your rock- here is a definition of RickRolling….
Rickrolling is an Internet joke involving the music video for the 1987 Rick Astley song “Never Gonna Give You Up“. The joke is a bait and switch: a person provides a Web link they claim is relevant to the topic at hand, but the link actually takes the user to the Astley video on You Tube. When a person clicks on the link given and is led to the Rick Astley Video he/she is said to have been “Rickrolled”.
We showed Brandy the Rick Astley video and we decided to do our own BrandyRoll video to Rick Astley’s song. She was having fun because “Never Gonna Give You Up” is a fun song to dance to and Rick Astley is a fun dancer. So if you want to pull your own internet joke- BrandyRoll someone. Because playing internet jokes on people is fun!!
